Project Planning: identify and analyze the client’s needs and goals, project criteria, scope of work, budget, schedule, team and expertise requirements; outline a project plan and approach.
Project Design: explore client’s “vision” for the project and develop a conceptual design which is both functional and eaesthetic; conduct space programming, including lifestyle planning and project requirements; proceed to space planning, including floor plans and furniture plans; refine and develop design concepts from preliminary design through final designs, through elevations, sketches, product / material and color selections; document final designs, plans and selections with construction / contract documents (plans and specifications,) including interior architectural elements, millwork, cabinetry, fireplace, stairs, product/material/finishes, fixtures and equipment.
Lighting Design: Select, design and document interior and exterior lighting layouts and fixtures selections, custom lighting, fabrication, procurement, installation.
Mechanical/electrical/plumbing/audio visual/low voltage: Lighting and electrical plans, details and specifications coordinated with interior and architectural design and building systems.
Permit, Bid and Construction Documents: prepare documents required for permitting, bidding/pricing, fabrication, construction, procurement and installation.
Decorating and Purchasing Management: Coordinate and collaborate on the procurement, fabrication and installation of specialty finishes, equipment and furnishings, such as custom and factory window treatments, furniture, artwork, accessories, lighting and rugs.
